In addition to our experience in private law practice, we have wide ranging business experience, including as senior financial executives for emerging enterprises, start-ups, venture-backed entities, and high tech firms. We also have experience with large international accounting and consulting firms where we planned and performed audit and consulting engagements for large public and private clients. Such experience endows us with uncommon skill sets and perspective. While many attorneys haven’t ever worked in a professional environment other than the practice of law, our experience as financial executives gives us a unique vantage point to evaluate the complex problems our clients face and helps us find creative and thoughtful long-term solutions. Larry joined the firm after serving with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as a Planning Specialist and as an Information Specialist. As a Planning Specialist, he developed Incident Action Plans, produced strategic timelines and staffing projections, and developed strategic/demobilization plans and continuity of operations plans. As an Information Specialist, he prepared reports for the FEMA joint field office on status and trends of assistance on disaster relief projects.
